An earth-shattering teaser of Mohanlal-Unnikrishnan team’s Villain is out. It gives the hint that the film will have lots of thriller scenes, shot through gruelling schedules.

Mohanlal is appearing as police officer named Mathew Manjooran and Manju Warrier is the heroine. South Indian stars Vishal, Hansika, Sreekanth and Rashi Khanna are also seen in important roles.

Vishal will play the character named Shakthivel Palani Swami. Hansika will act the role of the character Shreya  and Sreekanth will do the character Helikids D Vincent.

Rashi Khanna will appear as Harshitha Chopra. Actor Siddique will also have an important role in the film.
Villain is getting ready in 8 K resolution. This is the first such attempt in Indian films

Manoj Paramahamsa is cranking the camera. Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya, Nanpan are his major works. The film with so many technicalities was done with a budget of RS 25-30 crore.

All in the technical team are from abroad. The film gives special importance to VFX, which will be handled by a Polland-based company. Villain is produced by Rockline Venkatesh, who produced big-budget films like Bajrangi Bhaijan and Linga.
