NEW DELHI: Renault India today launched its SUV Koleos, priced at Rs 22.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The SUV is the company's second vehicle in the Indian market after the sedan 'Fluence', which was launched in May.

"The new Koleos will make its world debut a few days from now at the Frankfurt Motor Show. We are highly optimistic about the product..." Renault India Managing Director Marc Nassif told reporters here.

The Koleos is powered by a 2 litre diesel engine and is available in four wheeled drive option with six speed automatic transmission.

Renault is investing Rs 4,500 crore with its alliance partner Nissan in Chennai for a manufacturing plant that would have an installed capacity of four lakh units a year.
