THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State women’s commission chief M C Josephine claimed to have received a death threat. She said the death threat came soon after registering a case against Poonjar MLA P C George over the attack towards a popular actress. A case was taken against him for insulting the attacked actress.

Josephine said that she has been receiving threat letter, nasty statements and even packed human excreta in her name. However, she added that she will carry on with her work and is not lodging a complaint on it. I will not withdraw from my work even after provoked.

She added that the members of Women in Cinema Collective are also getting threats.
