Kattu, directed by Arun Kumar Aravind with Asif Ali in the lead, will reach theatres on October 5. Asif will be appearing in the film in a different getup.      

The character’s name is Nuhukannu. Murali Gopy will be doing another important character in the film. Late director Padmarajan’s son Anandapadmanabhan has scripted the film in which Varalakshmi is the heroine.  

Arun Kumar Aravind himself will be producing the film under the banner Karmayug films.
