“Why do you never get out without wearing your wig like Rajnikanth does?”

This was a question directed at superstar Mohanlal, to which he gave an apt response without losing his cool.

“Rajnikanth is someone who approaches things differently whether in cinema or his personal life. He has developed a style of his own both in cinema and life. You must understand that cinema has its own secrets. Cinema is a magic combining light and darkness. Just like in any other performances, cinema too has some secret tricks. The person you see in cinema might not be the person you meet in real life, and vice versa. Hence all actors and actresses will have to maintain certain secrets,” he said.

He explained that hair loss is something common that happens when one has to bear heat in locations and take bath in different kinds of water because of the different shooting locations.

He also said that it is essential to maintain difference in appearance and personality when you’re a part of the film industry.

Mohanlal also made clear that such criticisms has never affected him.
