There are reports that in order to take a final plunge into active politics, actor Kamal Haasam may stop acting. This report was released by certain Tamil media, which even stated that he would call it quits after the release of Shankar’s Indian 2. Indian 2, the sequel to super hit movie Indian will also have Kamal Haasan in the lead.

The film is being produced by Dinil Raju on a budget of Rs 180 crore. The film which will release in Tamil and Telugu will also be dubbed in other languages.

Kamal Haasan had already said that once into the politics he will quit cinema. Shankar had signed a contract with Kamal Haasan for Indian 2 after setting aside his big-budget film with Ajith. This was also for reportedly facilitating the political entry of Kamal Haasan without further delay.

Indian 2 will be made in such a way to endorse the political entry of Kamal Haasan
