MALAPPURAM: The police arrested three persons for assaulting a woman doctor at the PHC, Pang, on Tuesday. Fasil, 22, Thasweek, 19, and Sulfiker, 25, were arrested for attacking the medical officer of the health centre as she was leaving for a panchayat-level vaccination drive. Princy was the lone doctor on duty at the health centre. The trio attacked her when she was leaving for a vaccination camp despite her assurance that she would be back in an hour.
