KOCHI: A day after the rear wind shield of a private vehicle used by Mayor Soumini Jain was found damaged, the police are yet to obtain any solid leads to trace the culprits.

The police have inspected footage from a few CCTVs in the locality and identified all the persons. “However, in the present scenario, none of them can be suspected. The probe is on and we are collecting more CCTV images’’, the police said.

The rear wind shield of the SUV owned by the Mayor was found smashed using inter-locking tiles on Tuesday night. The car was parked in front of a business complex near her residence at Ravipuram.

The incident came to her notice when security guards of the complex alerted her around 7.30 p.m. A case was lodged at the Ernakulam South police station in this connection.
