THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As the government is getting ready to take action against Congress leaders based on the Solar Commission report, Congress’ national vice president Rahul Gandhi has summoned opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala, former chief minister Oommen Chandy, KPCC president M M Hassan, and KPCC vice president V D Satheesan, to Delhi.

Among them, Ramesh Chennithala is already in Delhi, and the rest of them would reach the national capital by Thursday evening, and Rahul Gandhi will have a meeting with all of them tomorrow afternoon.

They would discuss about the Solar Commission report. Congress executive committee member A K Antony, and AICC general secretary Mukul Wasnik will also take part in the meeting. Rahul Gandhi had demanded a preliminary report on the case as the state government announced action against the Congress leaders.

Meanwhile Ramesh Chennithala had already had a meeting with A K Antony. Chennithala has convinced Antony that the decision to take action against Congress leaders in connection with the ‘solar scam’ is purely politically motivated, and that the issue is quite critical.
