THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan has taken to Facebook to take a dig at the Congress under the new circumstance of the state government deciding to take action against its senior leaders in connection with the ‘solar scam’.

He has said that now there is no need of an organisational reshuffle in Congress but declare Saritha S Nair, the second accused in the ‘solar scam’, as their leader. He also said that would be the solution to the question as to who should be made the president if all the senior leaders are put behind the bars.

“Charges of corruption, cheating and even rape are slapped on the senior leaders of Congress in connection with the ‘solar scam’. This is a sign of to what level the Congress has stooped. Leaders of the party involved in the case must resign as people’s representatives. All the self-righteous A K Antony, Oommen Chandy, Thiruvanchoor and others must leave politics,” he said, and added: “All the Congress leaders who made fun of the ‘Janaraksha Yatra’ by calling it mourning procession and procession of the devil, have now become the subject of ridicule. They are now in the position to take out a mourning procession themselves.”

He also said that though the action against the Congress leaders in connection with the ‘solar scam’ is a welcome sign, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is no one to talk about ideal politics, as he has not been able to take any action against Thomas Chandy who is accused of land encroachment.

“There is love jihad in Kerala, and even the children of Communists are victims of it. Bindu from Thiruvananthapuram, whose daughter went missing was a Communist. Ashokan, father of Akhila from Vaikom, was also a Communist. The NIA has submitted clear evidence of Akhila’s husband’s terrorist links at the court. Even some of the Christian organisations have approached the high court the other day with complaints of girls gone missing,” he said.

He also asked how Kunhalikutty would react if his daughter is taken to Syria.
