THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Congress has filed a complaint against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for violation of rights. Congress deputy leader in the Assembly K C Joseph filed the complaint with speaker P Sreeramakrishnan.

Joseph has pointed out that the CM letting out the details of the Solar Commission report to the media before tabling it in the Assembly was a violation of rights of the Assembly members.

Joseph also said that the CM made a politically motivated move.

Based on the findings by the Solar Commission, the government had earlier announced that vigilance case will be filed against former chief minister Oommen Chandy for taking bribe, and also a criminal case for helping and sexually abusing Saritha S Nair, the second accused in the case.

The government has also decided to take a criminal case against the then home minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan for being an accomplice and trying to sabotage the investigation by influencing the investigating officers.

Also, based on the letter submitted by Saritha S Nair, case will be filed against all those mentioned in her letter with charges of corruption and rape.
