ALAPPUZHA: Minister Thomas Chandy has rubbished the report by Alappuzha district collector T V Anupama stating that the minister built his resort on encroached land.

“The collector only has information as per what other officials told her, and she prepared the report accordingly. For that same reason, the report by the collector is not final,” he said, and added that he’ll not rest until he prove that the allegations against him are all false.

Meanwhile NCP national general secretary Praful Patel came to the fore in support of Thomas Chandy. Let the evidences speak, he said, and added that it’s not fair to crucify a person based on just allegations and media reports.
