THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A civil police officer attached to the Neyyattinkara police station was arrested on Sunday The accused, Naveen Kumar, 29, of Maranalloor, was arrested by the Medical College police in connection with an incident that had taken place at the TRIDA Complex, near the Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College Hospital, a day ago. The officer is accused of having misbehaved with the complainant inside a shop. Those who were present in the area handed him over to the police, who were alerted by the woman. The accused has been remanded to judicial custody after being produced at a local court.
