THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: All the preparations have been completed at the Greenfield stadium in Karyavattom, near here, for the decisive third and final T20 match to be played between India and New Zealand on November 7.

Both the teams arrived late Sunday night, Kerala Cricket Association sources said here today.

The Greenfield Stadium, prepared in connection with the last National Games, will be hosting an International Cricket Match for the first time. The pitch was tested for a Ranji Trophy match between Kerala and Jharkhand last month.

Both the teams will be staying at the Hotel Leela Palace, Kovalam which offer a panoramic view of the famous beach destination.

A birthday celebration was arranged for skipper Virat Kohli, who turned 29.

The cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the International match that returns to the city after a gap of 29 years.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made with as many as 2,500 police personnel will be deployed in and around the stadium on match day.

Entire tickets for the match have been sold out within hours after the sale started and about eighty percent of the sale of tickets was conducted through online.
