THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Bindu, the mother of Manacaud native Nimisha Fathima, who is believed to have joined ISIS, has met National Women’s Commission chairperson Rekha Sharma.

The other day Sharma, who was here in connection with Hadiya case, had said that forced religious conversions was prevalent in Kerala. The meeting with Bindu was part of her programme to meet family of those who were forcibly converted.

Bindu handed over a complaint to Sharma, detailing events that followed the abscondment of Nimisha. In the complaint she has said that the investigation into her daughter’s case is not satisfactory and there is no clarity on what has happened to her daughter.
