         Miya’s Anarkali    
Actress Miya George plays the female lead in script writer Sachi’s debut directorial venture named Anarkali. The film has two heroines; Priyal Gor is the other heroine.

         Next is, Bollywood project    
After his Uthama villain assignment, actor Kamal Haasan will act in a Bollywood project. It is all about an unholy nexus between politicians and money launderers. Media reports say that the mega star has finished writing the film’s script.

         Andrea not in Mammootty film    
There were reports that Andrea Jeremiah and Anjali will play heroines to Mammootty in the Tamil film directed by Ram. However the director himself has stated that the two are not part of the film.

         Dileep, Biju Menon team up    
Dileep and Biju Menon will turn doctors as well as skirt chasers in their new film. The film is going to be directed and scripted by SL Puram Jayasurya, whose earlier projects were The Speed Track and Angel John.

         Vijay Yesudas to play cop    
Singer Vijay Yesudas is gearing up to face the camera for the first time. He is all set to make his acting debut in Dhanush's new film Maari. Vijay plays a cop in the film directed by Balaji Mohan.

         First music video of 'Oru Vadakkan Selfie' released    
KOCHI: 'Oru Vadakkan Selfie', the much awaited film released their first music video on YouTube. The video of the song, 'Enne Thallenda Ammava' has been released by Muzik 247, the official audio label of the movie.

         Shriya in Hindi ‘Drishyam’    
Shriya Saran will play the lead in the Hindi remake of super-hit Jeethu Joseph film Drishyam. She will do the role done by Meena in its original Malayalam version. The hero will be Ajay Devgn.

         Anushka comes with ‘Size Zero’    
South Indian actress Anushka and Arya are coming together again for a new project. The film has been titled Size Zero. It is expected to be a romantic thriller and will be made in Tamil and Telugu.

         Shah Rukh to romance Waluscha De Sousa    
Shah Rukh Khan is set to bring another pretty face opposite him through his upcoming ‘Fan’. While the speculations around casting Deepika Padukone, Parineeti Chopra, Ileana D'Cruz and Vani Kapoor were on, the makers have finally signed model Waluscha De Sousa opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the film.

         Vellimoonga to be remade in Tamil    
Jibu Jacob’s Malayalam film Vellimoonga released last year did really well in the box office. Biju Menon, who played the main character in the comedy film was well accepted by the audiences.

         Simram again comes to dazzle    
Simran who had once charmed millions of Tamil cine-goers is back again to dazzle on big screen. She will be doing a prominent role in ‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’ to be directed by new-comer Ravichandran with lyricist G V Prakash in the lead. Simran will reach Chennai in March for the shoot.

         Anoop to script for Priyadarshan    
Anoop Menon is penning script for Priyadarshan’s new film. Anoop himself informed this in his Facebook page. Anoop had acted in Priyadarshan’s last film Aamayum Muyalum where he played a lottery ticket examiner.

         ‘Shooting’ days in Thiruvananthapuram    
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The shoot of Kamal film starring Mammootty will happen in Thiruvananthapuram. The script has been penned by P S Rafeeq, who is also the author of Amen’s script. The shoot will begin on April but the heroine is yet to be decided.

         Anushka has no time for Salman    
Seems like the 'NH10' actress and cricketer Virat Kohli's girlfriend Anushka Sharma has taken Salman's recent comments about her beau a bit too seriously. Well, after Salman Khan called her boyfriend Virat Kohli "metro-sexual", Anushka, during a recent interview, made it quite clear that she is too busy to sign a film with the superstar right now.

         Pranav to be in front of the camera soon    
Actor Mohanlal’s son Pranav Mohanlal will soon shift his position from behind the camera to its front, according to reports. Pranav who is currently assisting director Jeethu Jospeh on his ‘Life Of Josekutty’ project may turn the hero in a new film shortly.

         Got what I wished, says Honey Rose    
Honey Rose is keen in doing different roles. The actress is on cloud nine as she got the role she wished for. After Trivandrum Lodge, she was offered very serious and bold characters. At one point, she wanted a difference.

         Nayanthara opposite Vikram    
Nayanthara will be paired with super hero Vikram for the first time. She will be seen with Vikram in Anand Shankar’s action thriller film. Anand Shankar was an assistant of A R Murugadoss.

         Janani as journalist    
She entered Mollywood through ‘Three Dots’. Janai Iyer will do a journalist’s role in newcomer Jayan Vanneri’s film. The film with the interesting title Ma Chu Ka will be produced in Tamil and Malayalam languages. Janani wil be playing the role of Niveditha Hariharan. Prathap Pothan and Tamil star Pasupathi will also have significant roles.

         Appavum Veenjum: Reshma instead of Ragini    
One more non-Malayali actress is making her entry into Mollywood. It is Telugu actress Reshma Rathore. Her launch-pad in Malayalam will be Appavum Veenjum-Shareeravum Chorayum to be directed by Viswanathan. He had also directed Doctor Patient and Out of Syllabus.

         Mammootty in Tamil film    
After the release of Vandemaatharam in 2010, Mammootty is all set to act in a Tamil film again. The film will be directed by Ram, who bagged a national award for Thanga Meenkal last year.

         Dileep again in Tamil after 13 years    
After 13 years, populist actor Dileep is again going to take a walk towards Kollywood. He would do a role in the film to be directed by K S Manikanton. The movie is yet to be titled and the heroine is yet to be decided. Dileep’s last Kollywood outing was in 2001 when he acted in Vijayakant starrer Rajyam.

         Dulquer Salman in Jomon film    
After Vipin Mohan, Amal Neeradh, Sameer Thahir, Shiju Khaleej and Dhibu Jacob, another cinematographer is set to become a director. It is actress Ann Augustine’s husband Jomon who is going to wear the director’s cap. He will be directing a film in which Dulquer Salman will play the lead role.

         Renjith-Mohanlal film named Loham    
Renjith and Mohanlal are teaming up for yet another film after Spirit. The film named Loham has Andrea Jeremiah as the heroine. The film will be shot in places like Dubai, Kochi and Kozhikode.

         Ajmal with Mohanlal    
Youth actor Ajmal Ameer, who had debuted through Pranayakalam, is going do a significant role in hit-maker Ranjith’s new film. He will be acting with Mohanlal in the new thriller.

         Fahadh in Joshiy film    
Director Joshiy has started work on his next film even before the release of Laila O Laila with Mohanlal in the lead role. Fahadh will play the main role in the film. This is the first time the two are teaming up.

         Focus is on cinema: Darsana    
Darsana Rajendran made her entry into film from drama. John Paul Vathil Thurakkunna was her launch pad…the cinema that introduced her to the cinema-goers.

         Aparna Nair in crime thriller    
Joe Eshwar, who narrated the story of a neglected freedom fighter in Kunthapura, is gearing up for his second film named Liverpool. Aparna Nair plays the lead role in the crime thriller.

         Biju Menon to play hero again    
Actor Biju Menon has proved that he is able to do humorous roles along with serious roles. After his impressive performance in Vellimoonga, Biju Menon is all set to play the lead role in Shajun Karyalal’s untitled film. Other casts have not been decided.

         Nayanthara comes with action entertainer    
After a gap of five years, South Indian actress Nayanthara and Telugu star Balakrishnan are coming together. They are the co-stars in the film Dictator. As the name has it, Dictator will be an action thriller. This is their third film together.

         Anoop Menon + Murali Gopy = Pava    
Anoop Menon and Murali Gopy, both script writers and actors, are coming together for their new film project titled Pava, which is expected to be an interesting creative piece.
